AMBESSA
League Of Legends utilizes a third person isometric view—this can make it difficult to get across the personality and flare of the character and their environment. The main task of the trailer was to give some cinematic punch to the character of Ambessa, while showing off all her in-game moves. Below are some of my still illustrations for the trailer which were later animated by the team.
BACKGROUNDS
Summoner’s Rift is an iconic place in the League Of Legends world. Ambessa’s storyline involved her Noxus army laying siege and destroying it—my job was to paint a familiar environment in a new light to help convey the might of this champion.
